Journey Beyond the Abyss started out as an idea by RoyallyDawson. The main goal being to develop a true Expert-Level pack that required skill, versus grind. After forming a small development team and working for months, the project was finally finished and soon uploaded to CurseForge.
With multiple dimensions to offer and nearly every recipe customized, along with a sense of realism, the pack soon gained a small amount of popularity that grew over time.
